At CashPilot, we believe your financial data should be your business alone. We built CashPilot to be a local-first application, meaning your sensitive information stays where it belongs: on your device.

1. Local Data Storage

All financial information you enter into CashPilot—including transactions, account balances, budgets, debt information, and goals—is stored locally on your device's internal storage. We do not transmit this data to our servers, and we do not have access to your financial history.

2. No Account Creation

CashPilot does not require you to create an account or provide any personal identification to use the application's core features. Your data is tied to your device and your local backups.

3. Device Permissions

To provide a complete experience, CashPilot may request the following permissions:

• Camera & Gallery: Used only when you choose to scan a receipt or upload a custom account icon. Images are processed locally and stored in your device's file system.
• Notifications: Used to send you bill reminders edge-locally based on your recurring transaction settings.

4. AI Assistant Context

Conversations with the CashPilot AI Assistant are stored locally on your device. While the AI may process your queries to provide insights, your specific financial ledger data is never used to train global AI models.

5. Landing Page Information

If you choose to sign up for our waitlist on this website, we collect only your email address. This information is used exclusively to notify you about product updates and early access opportunities. We never sell or share your email with third parties.

6. Data Portability & Deletion

Since your data is local, you have full control over it. You can export your data as a backup at any time or use the "Clear All Data" feature within the app settings to permanently remove all information from your device.
